we get very heated here when talking about Anthony. I think though race has little to do with it. I can only talk from my point of view and i grew up in one of the biggest multicultural mixing pots in Austraila (Oakleigh in Melbourne). Ben is right. OK, I saw the fight, and it was a shocker.
I was sitting beside a highly respected local trainer and i agree with him, and the former Australian champ that he used to train, this was a fight that would have been called a 'stew' in past years at the Sydney Stadium.
None the less, I have witnessed a hell of a lot of racial abuse flung at Antony.
The abuse he will get from this fight though will be deserved for its accuracy if it is regarding the boxing.
It appeared as though he didn't know how to deal with a guy with a consistent defense and a bit of a left rip.
Choc - where have you gone - there's a crowd still looking for a fight to watch.
I felt as tough he needed to put his left in the guys face from early in the first/second round, but he sat back thinking that the odd shot was all that was needed.

Before the main fight, newly crowned IBF Pan Pacific youth and WBO Asian Pacific super featherweight champion Ahmed Elomar was presented with the belts he couldn't receive last Friday due to the violent scenes following his first round knockout of Willie Kickett in Gosford.

Presented with his belts by former super bantamweight world title contender Nedal Hussein, Elomar said he had already got a number of offers including one for an IBF world title fight.
