Hamed got his ass kicked by Barrera and will never fight again. Besides, Hamed was hardly his own promoter, he was a director of a company (prince promotions) that promoted his shows in a joint venture with Matchroom.

The same sort of thing happened with Lennox.

It hardly makes them Mickey Duff does it.

Barry Hearn ( best Promoter ! ) would get a flat fee of £50,000.00 for his work on 'Hameds' shows (onnce Naz left Fwnak Warren ).

Naz cleaned up financially after that - all that TV money was lovely for Naz !

The difference between Audley and a lot of these other guys is Audley is doing it from the start rather than the like of Hamed and Roy Jones doing it once they are established.

A lot of people are saying Audley is an arrogant g1t but I think he is quite a good ambassador. He was still signing autographs like 2 hours after his fight had finished. Also he fully understands where he is, people dont like him saying he is the future Heavyweight champ because they think he fights naff opponents, but come on he is mature enough to admit the level he is at NOW. He aknowledged that if he fights Mesi or Guinn etc and beats them in his next fight then where does he go, and that if he loses a fight it will take him a long time to get back where he was.

The guy is certainly never rude and after every fight never belittles his opponents. He likes to talk before his fights but always shows respect to his opponents for stepping in the ring with him. I aint saying other boxers dont do this just pointing out that arrogant men would not do this.
