Mayweather Vs Hatton

Post by DG. »

In light of PBF saying Hatton was scared anfd Maloney not saying shit last nigh.

( makes a change - he usually talks shit ! ).

How many excuses would RH find not to fight him?.

1) Burger King closes at Midnight. Fight woulod have to be on American TV at 3.00 in the morning !

2) Mayweather wanted too much money.

3) Fwank Warren is 'negotiating'.

4) I need Southpaw sparring ( Mayweather is not a SouthPaw ! ).

5) I 'only' fight old shit former lightweights

6) I am scared.

7) Witter is not on my agenda ( in reference to him always running from Junior ! ).

Any more ?.

Maloney's not thet good on tv, Hatton will be lucky if he fights anyone off calibre until he gets to 50-0  , To be honest people should stop going to watch him( not thet you can see alot at the MEN) the standard of opposition for him and a few other fighters is shit IMO, but all you hear is we are negotiating etc, Mayweather would murder most off the division given a chance, the guy is pure class, and mad as a march hare. :TU:

He's taking part in the forthcoming "The Contender" series, which has opened its doors to all international fighters. The TV series will have 16 fighters living, eating and training together in the hope of making one of them a contender. Rumour has it Carl "Unify the World Titles" Froch applied but was turned down because he's not good enough.
Ricky Hatton is seen as just a decent prospect in the States so he'd do.

Mayweather is on another level to Hatton, interesting to see him at 140. I like Floyds willingness to move up weights and he would not duck anyone. Brash for sure, but his skills are great. He'd give Hatton fits, it would never make sense for that fight to take place for Hatton. With the way things are going, no way Hatton faces Mayweather.

How high in weight can Floyd go, hes pushing it, surely his power will become less, but fighters have moved up and created strenght, could Floyd do that?

I liked his verbal fight with Spinks  Id love to see it happen for real. If he were to win, he'd be the pay per view star he tells us he is. What do you all think, Mayweather Vs Spinks! :TU:

Pernell Whitaker moved up to 154 though, so I'm sure Mayweather can go to at least 147.

I love Mayweather. He's always been 1-2 P4P for me. Usually 2, but he's definately 1 now.

I can see him going to 154 believe it or not. I think he'll carry the weight well and a cat has mad skills. Depends what mega fights are out there for him really, but 154 is as far as he should/could possibly go.

Hatton IS scared of PBF, but it's understandable.

im glad guys r finally recognising that PBF is the truth.i have always been convinced that PBF is boound for the HOF.his a 2 weight champ at 130 35 and soon to b 140 and has definitly got the beating of any comer at 140 bar miguel cotto.his power at 140 is good as he was able to drop corley twice enroute to a wide UD.something that even the great zab judah couldnt do.flloyd has arrived!! P4P number 1 BABY.the truth is here n im with flloyd all the way!

His dominance of Corley is impressive.

PBF could go on to be something really really special, he's already surprised me in carrying power up to light welterweight, and dominated Corley far easier than Judah, who is known for being a puncher.

He's already a competed in 3 weight divisions, and if he fights Gatti, i predict that he will win, although Gatti is a more dangerous proposition than Corley who isn't a puncher.

dnt listen to what ian darke says.corley can punch although he may not be in the same mould as gatti cotto or zoo.PFB handles gatti with ease and stops him by late TKO around the 8th or 9th.

Corley went ragged very early though, after 3 rounds he was struggling to put power behind many of his punches. Other fighters will not weaken so quickly.

Hatton v Mayweather? I assume we're talking about Daddy Floyd Senior?

Perfect opponent for Ricky: He's been out of the ring for 15 years and he's in his 40's.
Frank probably considers him still a bit too dangerous for Ricky just yet.
Maybe in a year or two.

thats harsh :x froch does have some talent there  but he's over hyped by the beeb no doubt about that.

he was poor beating adamu and only won it cos adamu's stamina went but to just write him off is going way overboard.

we r talking about the super middleweights here u don't have to be amazing to go all the way in this division. :TU:

Hatton wouldn't fight Mayweather, well not outside of the MEN he wouldn't. Mayweather is much to good for Hatton. I think it's about time Hatton started looking across the pond. I heard he had Spad coming up?

I think Hatton would lose to Mayweather but that it's one of the few fights Mayweather would have to fight at his opponent's pace for substantial parts of the fight, which makes Mayweather Hatton or Mayweather Gatti interesting if probably PBF victories.

I think Froch has talent. You don't do what he did in the amateurs without it. He's just got a bit whiney of late. Needs to realise that he's got an apprenticeship to do in the pro game.

i agree Coconut, he seems to be the most hated fighter out there.
ok sometimes he maybe arrogant and the beeb overhyping is a bit much (what was that cartoon strip all about?) But he is at least figthing decent opponenets in an effort to stretch himself, kudos due me thinks, give the guy a chance.

Quite right but Froch gives the big i am much the same as Mitchell does and to be honest Froch is'nt good enough, the moment he gets in with someone who can bang he'll go in side 3 rounds, the guy hangs his chin out to dry.
