Said it on another forum, I'm not dismissing or even questioning his talent, but who has Froch fought and where the hell has he been?

This is becoming almost as embarrassing as your slightly discomforting infatuation with Audley Harrison, Chambers.Chambers2 wrote:Froch is more than ready for Kessler! I think he would probably school Froch at the moment, but if Froch gets a few big fights in the bag with a lot of different world-class styles then he could stand a chance in a few years. If he was to fight Kessler after Pascal then I feel he would lose, and lose widely.![]()

Audley was an anomaly in my otherwise faultless predictionsCarbo wrote:This is becoming almost as embarrassing as your slightly discomforting infatuation with Audley Harrison, Chambers.Chambers2 wrote:Froch is more than ready for Kessler! You'll soon see how good Carl is 8) get your rubles on a Froch KO on Dec 6th, then it's Calzaghe time
Re: If Froch wins and then fights Kessler who wins?
I hope Froch does well. But Kessler's left hand is a scalpel right now.
Froch has a great attitude, great conditioning, good power, but he's not been given the fights necessary to mix it up this level. Froch has Tatevosyan and Magee. Kessler has Siaca, Lucas, Mundine, Beyer, Andrade, Sartison (and before all that, Thysse, Green, Porras, Thobela). Kessler seems to be hitting a peak after the Calzaghe defeat, and might not be the best guy to mess with.
Froch will have a steep learning curve, from Pascal onward. Not saying he can't do. I'd like nothing more than Froch to stop Pascal and call out for a Kessler unification.

The only thing I'm doing with my rubles now, my friend, is changing them to dollars.Chambers2 wrote:Audley was an anomaly in my otherwise faultless predictionsCarbo wrote:This is becoming almost as embarrassing as your slightly discomforting infatuation with Audley Harrison, Chambers.Chambers2 wrote: Froch is more than ready for Kessler! Audleys not done yet either

Anyway, when Froch does something that even suggests he's ready for the likes of Kessler, I'll join your little band wagon. Until that time, I'm keeping my distance.
Re: If Froch wins and then fights Kessler who wins?
He might have the skills but he needs the big fight experience. A Reid fight will not prepare you for Kessler - Froch would lose if he went near Kessler in 2009 in my opinion but I have been very wrong before, so who knows.Chambers2 wrote:Froch is more than ready for Kessler! Re: If Froch wins and then fights Kessler who wins?
I like fights such as Froch, Abraham, etc, for Kessler.
This Andre Dirrell guy might be gunning for Froch, so may Jermain Taylor.
Ppl are talking about Kessler-Hopkins & I hope it's just talk. Kessler should be in with lively, exciting opponents, learning new things, carving out his own niche, having memorable nights. Hopkins is a relic in a weird twilight zone weight (170 pounds), luring younger, less expereinced guys up with the promise of HBO / GBP money, making everyone look bad. Fattening them up, making them greedy, then trying to steal enough rds to win v men uncomfortable with the added weight. To me, American TV should not be encouraging fights like this. Let the young guys get it on, the ones who will be trading some nice leather.

I was asked about Froch Power the other day and I said I wanted to stay with my current supplier.Chambers2 wrote:Froch by late KO. Kesslers chin hasn't been tested by Froch-Power yet 8)

Re: If Froch wins and then fights Kessler who wins?
Kessler would beat Froch, too much experiance, too Quick.
Re: If Froch wins and then fights Kessler who wins?
Froch has a puncher's chance against Kessler, but it's not a good style match for him. Kessler's fundamentals are excellent, and if he can stay out of the way of Carl's bombs he should eke out a decision.
Re: If Froch wins and then fights Kessler who wins?
Right now, Kessler would, in my mind, demolish Froch. Kessler is, as Graham Houston says, an 'elite fighter'. Froch is not. I'm going to Nottingham for Froch-Pascal, and I hope to see Froch put on a show. He's got some great attributes, i.e. solid chin, good punch and some unorthodox angles. But Kessler has dominated everyone he's ever fought, with the exception of Calzaghe. And Joe was excellent that night. Kessler-Froch is an excellent fight though, if Carl can get past Pascal.
