In the summer, on the back of the economic stability, a soaring ruble, and safe job in an investment bank, I decided to move from my bedsite hovel into a rather nice once room apartment close to the centre of Moscow.

With hindsight, it was a bad move. But hey ho, I only work in a bank, whaddathey expect me to know about the economy?

Anyway, at first, we couldn't get connected to the internet because A) I couldn't be bothered to go to the offices of the major ISP here and try to get it sorted with by ropey Russian and B) well, there's no 'b'.

However, a fortnight ago my girlfriend, cupping my tesiticles rather too firmly for comfort and with a icy look in her eyes, asked me if I would like to keep my male organ for copulation and gave me a deadline for the internet connectivity.

So, now we have it and are own line.

But now I'd like all y'all to give me some advice for streams, torrents and etc and etc for fights. I couldn't find, for instance, roy jones-felix trinidad on youtube last weekend, and I was wondering if anyone could post advice, places to go and all that to me.

Might be useful to others, too.

You get suspended and sometimes booted off the site for good

Yeah, I got booted off because I downloaded fights no-one else wanted, so I couldn't get my ratio back up.

There used to be a really good site with links to fights on all kinds of video sites, but the guy sold out. It stills work okay, but you have to disable JavaScript in your browser otherwise it will redirect you to some crap. http://www.boxingvideosonline.com/

When I want to see a boxer, the first thing I'll do is a search on a video aggregation site: http://www.blinkx.com/

It is harder to use if you are a Brit. Poland, Ireland, in fact every country bar this one allows for higher upload speeds. Our internet is crippled so the British user gets stuck with a massive download speed, only to find the upload speed is crap. People say this is the Third World of the internet. The British have a block when it comes to moving stuff (people, trains, buses, connections) from A to B, useless tw*ts.

You've hit the nail on the head. I use Virgin Media for broadband. The download speed is the absolute best I can get, but the upload speed is awful. Right now: download is 9752Kbps, upload is 484Kbps. In reality, my upload speed maxes out at 65Kbps.

I remember when i was 17 and at 6th form i had a summer job "labouring" (I did very little actual labouring, by the way) near Piccadilly Station in Manchester.

Anyway, 1 lunch time i was working up a scaffold doing some god-forsaken task, i came down to eat with "the lads" when the foreman saw id left my paint stripper machine things buzzing away and told me to get back up there and switch it off.

So i climbed back up there, and switched it off and glanced down behind the wall i was working on (which was obscured from where we were eating Lunch) well bless my eyes what did i see? Only one of the builders from the site on his knees "servicing" 2 other lads from site. What struck me most of all was that one of the "standing" lads still had his hard hat on (you know, on his head)

Anyway i climbed down looking sheepish

"You alright? you look like you've seen a ghost, mate" Said one of the other part timers

"No, not i ghost" i replied "But i did see Chris on his knees on the other side of this wall, sucking Phil and Simon off"

"Oh for fucks sake!" cried the foreman, looking up from his paper "Not again!!.... CHRIS (shouting) CHRIS, for fucks sake, people can see!!!"

There was then a mad dash of people climbing up the scaffold to get a look, it was like planet of the apes the way some were climbing up.

The building game was never the same once they brought in hard hats and piped Village People music. Lunchtime appears to mean something completely different these days, according to KG. It must have ruined the lad or sparked his imagination.

With WBVA it is best to download popular fights as soon as they go up. You then get a good ratio as people will be trying for the fight all week.

It is harder to use if you are a Brit. Poland, Ireland, in fact every country bar this one allows for higher upload speeds. You're not kidding, last time I checked my speed online, the feedback returned was that I'm slightly faster than a chap from Burkina Faso and slightly slower than a venezuelan. Anyone affiliated with BT needs drowning.
