A street life, back from the brink yarn and some moaning about the hotel :D I was expecting a scuffle or something.

Buncey was talking Barrett up earlier saying he advised Haye not to take him on because of his speed :oo

barrett has always fallen short in good class.

haye will deal with him.

i remember barrett speaking out before he fought rahman in a wbc eliminator.

he was on boxingtalk every other day going on about how he was gonna destroy rahman.

then he goes and loses a boring pts decision.

When it comes to potential pre-fight entertainment (the first Benn-Eubank kind), I can only think of two possibilities: Haye-Toney and Calzaghe-Froch.

MONTE BARRETT AT 66/1 IN THE FIRST 4 ROUNDS!

Post by overhand_right »

Thems some pretty sweet odds over at Papddy Power for a guy whos likely to start swinging himself when Haye comes at him.

Haye untested and down several times in crusierweight, Barrett a guy who does damage against men who aren't cut out for the heavies... Any takers?

I know I should be having a value bet on Monte in the first few rounds, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I think in a massachistic way I don't want my pain to be diluted if Haye loses (there's abit of Chambers logic for ya)

COME ON HAYE!!!
