cliff couser was on here the other day saying he had signed a contract for a rematch down here in oz at the end of nov...but i guess he was just talking shit.

its a shame. cliff has an awesome record (think it 14-0 with 13 ko's) and hes not exactly a spring chicken, he needs to stay busy which he obviously isnt doing.

id like to see him fight someone down here with some significance..even if its only bob.....but ideally, shane cameron or briggs would be fights i would be aiming for...he'd never fight hoppa coz their best mates.

Agree with what your saying, i think Solo could at least go 20 rounds a year, which by his standards is at least 10 fights.

Are you saying that fighting a D level oppenant every 4 months is acceptable when your ranked outside the top 100 and your a prospect.

Alex Leapai has fought what 5 times in the last 2 and half months, all have been good tests, and good fights to watch i might add.

Based on what, i dont think i've seen anyone pressure Solo, seen majority of his fights, couser lasted with him but cant say anything other than fatigue was to blame for that poor performance.

thats because he never fights 50 /50 fights everyone he fights are either to old or lightheavys with a few extra pounds on .or on a losing streak .i would like to see his skills improve like the other heavyweights in the country but they are willing to fight each other he's not

I don't think trying to absorb punishment against Solo would be a good idea. I like Cronje but he can be hit and Solo can hit hard. I know he took plenty of shots from Leapai but Solo still seems more imposing...

Thats my only problem with solo, got to fight other prospects and gatekeepers, if your serious about a shot at the title.

These guys in Australia fighting imported punching bags from overseas, and then getting a shot at a title before they have had a true test has got to stop.

cronje would destroy solo .leapai is very hard to hurt everybody thinks cronje was just soaking up punishment but thats not the case cronje was landing sum pretty hard straight rights of his own and alex was getting frustrated by them only his experience by pacing himself and a good chin and poker face got him the nod .also cronje stopped brian fitzgerald inside two rounds .something 120 kilo bowie tupou couldn't do . no body fat mind you and also john hopoate had to fight brian twice to stop him in the fifth round in a competitive fight
