South Africa's Isaac Hlatshwayo, the man who falsely claimed he licked Phillip N'dou as an amateur in a successful attempt to goad his compatriot into a fight, can now say he's beat him for real. He won a 12-round split decision over N'dou last night.
Keep an eye out for Hlatshwayo. In his last three fights he's licked Samuel Malinga (who trounced Colin Lynes and Ted Bami here), Patrick Malinga (who lost a good fight to Alex Arthur here) and N'dou (who lost to Floyd Mayweather in his last fight). He's looking the biz.

Isaac "Angel" Hlatshwayo reigned superior on Sunday but Philip Ndou was rushed to hospital after their bout in Johannesburg.
A cat scan which will determine if Ndou suffered a concussion.
According to doctor Steven Saad, Ndou, whose head was bashed severely by the superbly fit Hlatshwayo at Carnival City, could be bleeding inside his brain.
Saad said that Ndou was in a bad state. But he added that the final word would be heard after more tests had been conducted.
The scorecards did not reflect the kind of punishment Ndou absorbed from the fearsome Hlatshwayo, who dominated the match from the fifth round.
Judges Gordon Goba and Andrew Smale both scored it 115-113 for Hlatshwayo, while Alfred Buqwana saw it 115-113 for Ndou. The ageing official, who is a former professional boxer, was booed for his decision.
Hlatshwayo is now the proud owner of the coveted Old Buck belt. His victory over Ndou was his fifth defence of his national lightweight title. - Sapa
