Barrett can't match Haye with getting his shots off, but is imposing himself physically, then the Yank is floored by a great left hook.
Was down again towards the end of the round, the bell saved him

Haye decks Barrett twice, 1st time by a long left hook, good punch, 2nd short right.

Haye gets a bit wild trying to finish it

Haye sitting back again, quiet first minute, then gets Barret again for another count, the yank swinging wildly, Haye very calm not taking risks, knows he can do him with single shots, Barrett down again, bell saves him again

Barrett decked twice again, Haye looking to finish it with 1 big punch.

Full marks to Barrett, when was the last time we had an american heavyweight earn his money like this over here

Seems a harsh point deduction, Haye has hit him on the floor several times.

Haye looks a little small, but he is fast

All over, Haye definatly has the punch. Has he the chin? that didn't quite get tested in that department tonight.

But full marks to David tonight, he did the job

Questions on Haye's power for me at HW for me. Barratt isn't the most durbale and he probaly could have got up even from the last knockdown if allowed

Haye looked a bit wild and open at times. Not sure he is ready for the Klit's just yet but I reckon one of them will step up after that because he leaves himself open and they might just fancy it. Good job overall and did what he had to do against a limited opponent that came to fight, but questions still over the chin and how it will stand up when tagged by a real puncher.

Nice to see 2 heavyweights in Haye and Klitchko not slagging each other off, Vitali showed class tonight. Not mouthing off, just stating that the fight can happen.

Nice to see

Horrible ass fight, Haye just sits there every time waiting until he can throw a telegraphed right hand. Is his stamina still In question? He just moves around like he thinks he's super fly and still gets tagged then holds.

Barrett was slow and just throwing wild swings and Haye doesn't usually need 5 knockdowns to KO a fighter.

Funny how Haye didn't get told for hitting Barrett when he was down too.

did haye get knocked down....it never showed a replay

i though haye was very good tonight , he showed a varierty of punches , he punches very hard and has speed.

his chin??...he took some shots but would love tos ee replay of that 5th round.

right now id give haye 1 more fight against another top heavweight before fighting one of the brothers.

march.....a top 5 heavy
july/august...one of the brothers

ps: there is no need to rush haye

I had to watch that one peeking between my fingers at times! Very cavalier from Haye. Still, he said it was going to go for it at heavyweight.

Saw Spud hugging Haye at the end as well!
