More modern times would be Julio Cesar Chaves? The old fighters fought all the time, Ted kid Lewis ect..

jimmy wilde has knocked out 91 opponents in his career i think it a record for a fighter.

Roberto Duran in modern times has a pretty expansive record.

When fought Reggie Strickland that must be a record for most combined fights - close to 400 between them.

He won the Leicester flyweight title, and had an eliminator for the Southern Area, also he took part in the Percival Lightweight belt series and the Ted Salmon Midlands belt competition!

But then there was never the WBU in those days! lol

In fairness he took part in a hell of a lot of 10,12 and 15 rounders, still a hell of an achievement

the answer, in both instances might be the American Bobby Dobbs who claims to have well over a thousand fights and MOST of them while living, campaigning and travelling the British Boxing Booth circuit, where you fought both allcomers and Sanctioned and 'Un-Sanctioned' pro fights alike!
