want to c him in with mark thomson, mike jennings after cotto beats him, or craig watson good fights..
For fornicate sake before the fight it was he aint the champ till he beats kev now your saying he ant proved anything let me tell you he proved a hell of a lot last night look at kev's recent form and that shows that kell is going to be special and last nights form he could gone to changing rooms changed his shorts and come out and beat thomson quality performance well done kell

Well said DR.
Many posters got Ezekiel totally wrong.
Press wise he was never given the right respect - the McIntyre stripped situation was none of his makiing.
He proved himself in the ring - where it counts.
Onwards and upwards.
You know the score mate - if he beats Jennings Mikey will be past it etc etc.

First time I saw him and I was HUGELY impressed.

Loved the jab, the solid way he threw his punches and his speed. Still very very young and I hope that he insist on getting that Lonsdale belt outright before he moves on to bigger and better things

Looked like he's developing into a stronger boxer, seems to have got his man's strength.
McIntyre had been stopped early before, but he was on a good run, so Kell had to do the job which he did.

The Watson fight would be a natural now, or maybe a defence against Michael Lomax who won the prizefighter

Yes I think back at the Ingles is where Kell needs to be to fufil his potential. His opponents will be getting better and taking nothing away from Coldwell cause he did a good job, but the Ingles have the experience of making champions.

I can't see the Watson fight happening - too many Promotional complications.
The match up with Jennings looks a natural - both Wazza fighters, so Goldenballs can't lose.
Great to see Sheffield emerging from the shadows a little now.
Good boxers in good gyms.
Kel is young with everything in front of him.
Witter looks to have regained his sparkle.
We'll take the credit for Thaxton !
Rhodes on a renaissance.
Just need Fewkey to get focussed, and Clinton to get that Euro belt now.

Great win for Kell.He dusted off an establsihed champion. That should tell everyone right away that he is way beyond British Class. He'll get better and better, Kel.A natural talent if ever there was one.I think Sheffield is just so good for boxing -so many good gyms, with good fighters consistently coming out of it -its no fluke. Does anyone know what is happening with Nicki Smedly? Another talented kid -needs to fight regularly and he can achieve a lot as well, i think + lets not forget Steve Barnes Jnr. I'm very fond of everyone from Sheffield and its great to see the kids do so well and the established champions coming back -Ryan and Junior.

I can't see a fight with Jennings coming off anytime soon - he's going to be sitting on his WBO ranking until he, most likely, becomes disabled after facing Cotto. I would put young Kell in with Doherty - it's a fight he should win but it poses a different threat.

Listen mate, it takes balls to post like that.
Trust me, I've been there, and I know you'll be hurting just as much as Kev.
There's always a light at the end of the tunnel - I've gone up, down, and roundabout with Ry, but what we've always said it's the manner of dealing with a loss that says the right thing about a boxer.
He can, and will come again.
Good luck mate.

I was told Dennis Hobson gave Smedley his contract back. Dennis has got a kid called Joe Elfidh who looks a prospect. :geek:

Kev says he was signing up for this Boxrec so he could "dig me out a hole" after me bigging him up
Yea defo coming back obviously just bit shocked with it all
but Boxing is a Cruel sport and hes came back before

He used to get annoyed about getting beat off a Boy called Richard hatton in the Amateurs
Look at him now

The Euro champ is Rafal Jackiewicz, who has got to be one of the most improved boxers in Europe, after an indifferent start to his career he's gone on the beat the big puncher Jackson Osei Bonsu, no easy task.
Jackiewicz has a defence lined up at the end of the month, should he win. Maybe Kell could get a look in after that. Its a winnable fight for him.

As for Mcintrye, he's been through lows like this before and comeback. Its a hard defeat that he had. He never recovered from that first knockdown. Kev did show fighting heart to get up from the 2nd knockdown , when that right landed i thought no way would he get to his feet, but he did.
