On Michael Nunn;

"I think, pound-for-pound, we're the two best fighters in the world. But I won't fight him until last because he's a tall southpaw and liability.

"Give me some money first."

"We'll be the last two middleweights standing in two years time."


On Mike McCallum;

"He's a dangerous fighter, because he can hit you in the same part of your body from round one to round 12. Michael Watson got him wrong because he thought he could beat him on youth alone, otherwise why would he have stood in front of him like he did?

"You won't beat McCallum standing in front of him because he's too gifted with his punching and movement. I wouldn't stand in front of him. But I wouldn't fight him either because he brings nothing to the table."


On Michael Watson;

"Michael Watson is an easy fight and easy win. He can only stand in front of you, whereas I have multiple directions to my movement and multiple dimensions to my boxing. He'll be easy money."


"I am in this game for money. So we're looking at the likes of Duran, Watson and Benn next year."

Chris had great balance backwards and sideways but awful ( borderline atrocious ) balance forwards .He also had great strength and power..

This why i'd back him against the old legs of blown up Mccallum but give him little hope against bicycle slickster Nunn, in 90-91 fights

i think his stiff jab, which was terrific ,would see him through against Lights Out Toney in a 93-94 fight

But Herrol Graham and Rjj ? Forget it Chris made so many mistakes on the front foot and Rjj reacted to openings faster than any man ever, while Herrol would be far to elusive Chris wasnt a fluid natural puncher

Watch the McCallum-Toney 101's, and you'll see that Eubank was simply not in that bracket of boxing skill. But then again who was?!

Inside and at mid-range, Eubank wouldn't have had a prayer against McCallum or Toney. But, yes, Eubank had abnormally high hips and very good flexibility while his long-range boxing and ring generalship were excellent, so he'd have given them and anyone fits at the least.
