I didn't know he was fighting last night but saw a clip of the fight whilst i was on POferry last night, it looked like he hit the guy with everything but could not put him away.
anyway, just checked the result and it seems to have been a 6 round fight, points win for Hide. how come he was fighting a 6 rounder??
Herbie Hide (18th November)
Re: Herbie Hide (18th November)
A keep busy fight I suppose. I think these little run-outs are handy enough to keep a fighter active, rather than having months out of the ring at a time. I think he is getting an elimination crack at Grigory Drozd soon or a straight shot at Fragomeni.

Hide's power has been very disappointing at cruiserweight, no?

Nah Drozd is now fighting Rob Calloway. Hide's WBC eliminator has been ordered to be against Matt Godfrey. No news on a date yet.

Well he stopped that Latvian on the Hennessy show but that was more from bullying him rather than chilling one punch power. We shall see when he steps up but I was surprised he didn't remove the African fella on the Williams-Airich show.

Hide has lost some of his speed, so that takes out some of his power, also he just seems to throw the same shots all the time, jab followed by a right. No left hooks or uppercuts.

Apparently he's pulled out of his WBC eliminator with Drozd. Does anybody know why? He can't exactly afford to lose time and momentum at this stage.
