Faded after 3 rounds ?
Your seats must have been really shit at the O2.
How many pints did you have ?
If that was the case how could he win such a wide points margin ?
Sorry mate, you've been carrying Dooley's bags for far too long.

dooleys bags? why would i be carrying dooleys bags?

i just thought he looked far far sharper in the opening 3 then began to fade from there onwards. Admittedly ive not seen the fight a second time on tv, but thought his combinations began to go form there. will watch again and re-asses.

Against coyle he deffo faded from 3rd onwards though.

why did he lose the last 3 v vuma, did he know he was miles ahead?

Ryan Rhodes boxed to orders - and I thought he dealt with a bloody difficult opponent extremely well - I have to be honest I was quietly thinking Vuma could prove very difficult for Rhodes - Twenty Six will tell you - I was nervous for Ryan and in addition the night before in the hotel I also spoke with Dave Coldwell and I cant remember the guy but the other fella in Ryans corner.

I honestly thought Vuma was massive at the weight - so for Ryan to make Vuma look very ordinary I have got to say makes Rhodes performance impressive.

Pretty even fight, could see either stopping the other, if it goes the distance it would be Rhodes early and Moore late... close one.

I see Rhodes boxing and Jamie going for the knock out !! - very very intriguing fight.

I hope the Sky Promoters and Setanta promoters could get this off the ground but therein lies the problem on this fight - unless of course it went to a purse bids situation which I think is unlikely.

I can't help but laugh at some of the comments on this thread.

If this fight were to happen, IF, then it's really not going to be an easy nights work for either fighter. I'm pretty confident in saying that.
Whether we end up in a three round brawl or a long distance fight. Both fighters are gonna get hit, both fighters could well get hurt.
For some posters, i think they're letting loyalty cloud judgement. It's certainly not black and white, and i'm sure Ryan AND Jamie would agree with me.

From my point of view, jamie is a class act, both myself and Ryan both rate him very highly and both of us love to watch him fight as he's exciting and gives his all. This is the reason why we are both happy for him as he's about to finally get his big fight that he deserves. The Macklin fight was amazing entertainment and his career should have rocketed from that point, but he has been very unlucky and has had to wait longer than he would have liked. Now his injuries have been sorted, he should go on to win the European and then who knows?

Both fighters get on, both respect eachother and we all have a good crack when we bump into eachother at shows.. so there is no grudge, there is no bitterness, they are two good fighters who have both kept plugging away and are on course for big fights.
However. If the fight were to happen, they would need paying big time, cos it's gonna be a hell of a fight, a fight that i believe would create a great atmosphere with tension and excitement. Also, each sets of fans or associates shouldn't under estimate the opposite boxer because each one is capable of winning the fight.

It just so happens i reckon my man would win!!

I actually have a single bag, I never let it out of my sight, especially when Wales is around. He is country, he would denounce my bag as a witch and then burn it at the steak.

.
Are yo going sat... only i have a spare arm, you have a spare bag... let 26 do the math

That could end up bein a problem i suppose, but its not the initial problem.
Both fighter's are at a crucial stage in their respective careers, both guys would love a world title fight..ideal world = one of them grabs one and we have a defence against the other.
They are both possibly one or two fights away from getting a shot so why would they want to risk it at this stage?... Unless it was a final eliminator??

Gotta be honest, I gave Vuma the last 3 as well. That said, I thought the main event was a lot closer until I got home and watched it and haven't seen the Rhodes fight agains yet. And I was close enough to throw amorous glances at Spud all night long.

For the record, Terry's bag is a Tesco's carrier. I've gotten him a Waitrose one for Xmas. :TU:

Jesus, Wales chill out !
Your sign on says you live in Terry D's shadow, it was a piss take !
I know which seats you were in - I had been communicating with EPNG.
If he'd done what I said, and left the tickets to me, I migh have saved you a few bob ! :TU:
Terry's a decent journo, you were in good seats, so I don't understand how you could reach the conclusion that Ryan blew out after 3 rounds.
Riddick forcast an early bath for Ryan, but he did the RBR.
Even Riddick didn't read proceedings like you.
Tactically Ryan got this fight bang on.

I am in terrys shadow, but not with his bag.

I didnt say he blew out, I said faded, probably ment was began to fade... I'll re-watch it and re-asses. I seem to remember he deffo began to fade after 3 against Coyle. Still doesnt change the "fact" he loses against moore.

OK mate - that's what forums are about, opinions and debate.
As I've said before I see it as a proper 50/50 affair - just what the paying public love.
Whether it could happen no one knows.
However, the outcome of an event that has yet not taken place cannot be described as a fact !!! :TU:
I seriously hope both boxers earn their dues in 2009.

If Jamie wins the European title early next year it would make sense to have them fight for the British , European and a final eliminator for the WBC - what a great night we could all have then !!

It should happen and not be like the light-middleweights of 8 years ago who did not fight each other.I have spoken to Jamie and he is right up for it , but let us get Piccirrillo out of the way first.
