European champions
I would suggest we go with history. That is the heading "European Title" is to be read as the tradition EBU (not inserted) title, and for any other body insert it in the title eg. XYZ European Title. I would prefer to ignore these other bodies but this is probably not possible and I suppose we should note them and let history eventually decide their worth.

The European Boxing Union, who up to now had been very strict regarding titles, have now introduced a category of championship called EU [European Union] titles which are for boxers from countries in the European Union only. The European Union, or Common Market as it was once called, is a group of countries that got together after WW2 for mutual trade and economic reasons, at the moment comprising France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Greece, Great Britain and Republic of Ireland.
So please take care when entering Euro title bouts. EBU = All Continental Europe, EU = European Union only (Western Europe except Scandinavia).
