I'm getting pretty bored of him now I must be honest.

I've gone in a year from someone who was looking to go to Vegas to watch him fight Mayweather (and would have had the ticket prices not been scandalous) to not even bothering to buy the PPV tomorrow because I don't feel PPV is justified for this.

And Sky are getting on my tits with their crappy cliched coverage of the build up too.

I guess Hatton losing has had an impact on how I feel and if Hatton was fighting Paulie Malliwhathisface on Saturday still unbeaten with a win over Mayweather on his ledger it would kind of make it more interesting to me.

But that's the point. He did lose and has done nothing since then so in my opinion hasn't beaten a top top fighter since 2005.

So this fight is not worth PPV to Goz and to me now Ricky seems to be trading more on 'my amazing fans' than his ability as top possible p4p rated fighter.

this is a big fight, not the biggest ever at the weight like someone said in another thread but it is interesting. i dont think hatton should fight dlh, i would be much more interested in seeing him face pacquiao or juan manuel marquez or even cotto. if hatton can win and hasnt lost it like alot of people think (i dont) there is some really good fights left for him in the next year or two before he retires

I think you're getting away from the point of the thread dude. The Hatton circus is boring people a bit, myself included.

Maybe Saturdays fight will go some way to putting him back on the map as a real fighter - I'll be downloading the next day to find out!

Absolutely - Khan was the biggest rip off in the history of televised sport in the UK in my opinion.

I think the £50+ a month I already give Sky should get me this fight though. That's my prerogative - it's not worth £15 to me.

I understand why I might need to stump up when they are putting together a mega-fight like the PBF one but not this, not for me.

The Lazcano PPV was worse though, at least as you say this is between the 2 arguably best Light Welters out there.

An example is DLH-Mayweather which we recieved on normal sky, yet we had to pay £15 for Mayweather-Hatton. Alright I know DLH was past it and would have sparked the loudmouth 10 years ago but surely DLH-Mayweather is a bigger fight.

Whilst I accept the fight is decent - there is something 'plastic' about it to me as well.

Sky showing that 'magic man' documentary ad nauseum, Mayweather Senior's crappy poems on SSN all day and also I don't really think Malliwhatshisface's record stands up to much scrutiny either - it's basically a brave defeat to Cotto and some contentious decisions over adverseries that Hatton would be criticised for fighting. And that's about it.

It's a turn off for me.
