Marsh v Dean tonight
Rocky Dean gets his chance of a lifetime tonight , fighting for the British SuperBantam title.
Title holder Marsh will start favourite, as he's already beaten Dean twice before, but both fights were very close with Marsh just having the edge.
Marsh is coming in after beating the much more fancied Esham Pickering, in a fight Matthew won clearly , for a light puncher he even shook Pickering a few times. So was it a case of Marsh finding another level or a faded Pickering not performing, I think it was somewhere in between the 2.
Rocky Kelly is one of those boxers who's always value for money win or lose, he's had a couple of mark time fights since losing to Marsh last year, For me Rocky needs to find that extra 10% in each round to beat Marsh this time out, his training has gone excellent , and apparently he is in the shape of his life.
Rocky Dean is one of my favourites, and in this fight he has to leave nothing behind, Marsh should complete the hat-trick of wins going by form.
But i'm going to let my heart rule my head , and say Rocky Dean gets a tight decision win tonight.

Its 8/1 that Rocky does win by decision, so as i'm in a party mood I'm going to have a few sheckles on to pass the evening by.
If he wins I'll let you kip on the floor of my hotel room at the Excel on the 6th.

If these lads fought each other every week you wouldn't witness a bad fight between them
Re: Marsh v Dean tonight
69-66 Marsh, but I do have doubts he can keep this ballistic pace up.
Re: Marsh v Dean tonight
79-75 Marsh, Dean needs a kd at least

98-95 Marsh. He is now looking to appear tired, but a bit late. Dean cut also.
Re: Marsh v Dean tonight
Am I mistaken, or is that Azumah Nelson beside Warren? ....I hope Frankie is not lining him up for Khan
Re: Marsh v Dean tonight
108-105 Marsh, looks easy for Marsh here.

Re: Marsh v Dean tonight
Well thats 32 rounds fought between these 2 boxers, and not 1 bad round that i've seen.
That takes some doing, the BBBoC should look at these 2 guys when awarding the sportsmanship award next year.

Re: Marsh v Dean tonight
scored the fight 117-112 or 8-3-1 to marsh....think even 116-112 was about right
great fight
great fight
Re: Marsh v Dean tonight
Can Marsh move up and into European class, or is it too early to tell yet? He seems to have rebounded well from the Matthews loss at least and could carve out a good little earner at British level for now.
Please, Please, Please no WBU!!!

Yeah no more WBU, I think that Marsh needs a couple more learning fights before thinking about taking on someone like Munroe, but last night Marsh showed he can do the 12 rounds without a problem, which he will need to do often because of a lack of a KO punch.steve689 wrote:Can Marsh move up and into European class, or is it too early to tell yet? Think we might see a defence of the British title against Mark Moran next.

Yeah i think your right a few more 1st, he can do 12 rounds easy Trains unbelievably Hard. In sparring he finishes the 12th round at the same pace as the 1st.Old bones Ian wrote:

He is consistenly strong every Punch has a sting in it i can vouch for that, but yeah Not a big KO Punch.Old bones Ian wrote: which he will need to do often because of a lack of a KO punch..
Would be a good fight could be a mandatory for next outing, these 2 were on the england squad together, Marshy all day long for me..Old bones Ian wrote:Think we might see a defence of the British title against Mark Moran next.
