IMO Spud should be quite welcome to post as he has a lot to contribute in that respect. Ok he obviously has an agenda towards his current employers and will have biases against people he has worked with before, but then many people who post have vested interests and it all adds to the spice.
Nevertheless giving him any power is a receipe for disaster and he has a long track history in that respect. I would be gutted if there was a mass exodus from this forum like there has been from the other forums he has controlled.
His treatment of DG last night was disgraceful, and his manner suggests to me he hasn't changed at all. The prediction league is supposed to be a bit of fun, but I certainly won't bother again if it carries on like this, I think someone else should run it.
It is also a shame a lot of last nights posts were removed so that people can't see what went on. I appreciate KG has real issues with Spud, but in fairness Spud did ring up his work to try and get him fired over a petty squabble on the boards, and KG's points about not allowing Spud to get a foothold are very valid.
I cant see Boxrec giving Spud a job as a mod, can you? I have no problem with him if he sticks to debate and gives his points of view. Sometimes I think people say things, to get him going, and then things get silly and out of hand.
