Exactly, he may have lost, but look at who he lost to, Kendall Holt and Henry Bruselles, both of whom would annihilate Hatton.
Re: Matthew Hatton vs Ben Tackie.
Gutted I missed this one - IMO there's no way Hatton could beat Tackie.

Best available is now 4/7Hagler2002 wrote:Some big price differences here, Boyles go 4/5 on Tackie yet Bet365 have him priced at 1/2!
If anyone is wanting to back him I would be all over that 4/5 sharpish as it won't be about for long.

Re: Matthew Hatton vs Ben Tackie.
Im thnking of going for a treble. Hatton, tackie and Murray, wont be lumping large ammounts, cant afford to.

Did anyone go for Tackie, if so how much did you lose?
Thankfully I have an account with William Hill and they didn't have odds on this and couldn't be arsed opening another account!

I never bothered thank god, if I had seen some of that 11/8 on Tackie I would have got involved but that had long gone by Friday morning.
A lucky escape![[icon_notworthy.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_notworthy.gif)

Appears that the ref who did this fight has just killed himself...tragedy, all the best to his family

A lucky escape for me too, I would have likely stuck 4 figures on if I could have got close to evens.
Haven't seen much discussion about this one? Was Tackie just in journeyman mode with no ambition, or did he look totally shot?

Guys who have lost four on the trot, rarely change the mode.
I dont doubt Tackie's heart but I think its clear the role he now adopts.

Not that I'd have put a penny on it, but I wasn't at all surprised about the outcome of this one.

Sad about the ref, anyone here ever thought about topping themself?Riddick Blowe wrote:Jesus, there were better first posts to endear yourself to the forum.man grenade wrote:perhaps the odds on tackie winning were too good to turn down for him too.thepocketrocket wrote:Appears that the ref who did this fight has just killed himself...tragedy, all the best to his family

Anyway back on topic, Tackie looked slower, less spring, but he was trying to win, and you could make a good case he got the draw or even a win at a very big stretch. Basically a fight of 2 halves, Matton won 4 of the first 5, Tackie turned up the pace as Matton slowed to get inside and work the body and won 4 of the last 5.

After reading Horse's last p4p British top 30 I did consider it, but Scott Harrison talked me out of it :)
