A mate of mine has seen a couple of his fights and thinks he is showing real promise. I haven't seen him yet so I was wondering what you guys think.

King Davidson
Re: King Davidson
he's fighting people that have a few wins. so he must be a confident fellow. seems like he is headed in the right direction.
Re: King Davidson
although after just checking again his opponents previous 10 fights or so were nearly all losses.
Re: King Davidson
That was pretty much my reaction after looking at his record...
Re: King Davidson
one of the men dubbed African Kings now training in Australia. I reckon they will work hard to become as good as they can be. Who knows how good that is.
Re: King Davidson
don't rate him on what i've seen. showboats too much.
Re: King Davidson
Seen him fight once on TV and showed a fair bit of promise but had a spell out of the ring for 11 months. Will be be interesting to see if he can stop Dondon Sultan, who almost lasted 12 rounds recently against veteran Shannon Taylor.
But he has a win in his record over Frank LoPorto due to head cut and was ahead on all 3 judges scorecards. Since that bout, Frank has not lost since (4w - 1d), so a rematch may be worth considering to see how far both blokes have progressed since they last met.

Seems to fight as often as a solar eclipse.
Not sold on him either. more style than substance. whether it's injuries or whatever, he is moving along very slowly.

I have to agree Mate, I dont like the showboating unless you are as good as Floyd Mayweather and actually making world class fighters look ordinary. No need to show boat when your fighting d- level fighters.unleash06 wrote:don't rate him on what i've seen. showboats too much.
