Could Barney vs Froch happen

Mathew Barney could fill the void for the what was supposed to be British title fight with Froch, I think Barney would be an excellent opponent for Froch at the moment

, I would'nt think Hennessey would put Froch in with Barney though as he's known as a bit of a spoiler

, were has Barney gone the last fight was against Oakey and the way he's going his next fight will be against Oakey, BN said last week he'd asked for £10,000 to fight Elvis on a bill this month, He only got £9,000 to fight Oakey for the title (reportedly)

The story of current British boxing. A good opponent falls out a few days before the event, and in comes a guy with absolutely no chance of beating the 'house' fighter.

Well Barney is a former British champion and they have had a slight war of words him and Froch.

Hate to say it but I could think of worse replacements. I reckon...

I would hope that Froch would get him out there early, but Barney is such a spoiler, you never know.

Yeah I do agree, is Toks Owoh still fighting? That one would be interesting.

What I'd love to see is David Starie come back, but that is unlikely - I still think Starie could be a real threat in the devision.
