Anybody know anything more about the two heavies below? Can either make it to the top?
Calloway
Set up a fight with Rachman for June or july or somthing. Is he any good, surely anyone can beat the Rock (when on a good day obviously).
Valuev
This man is huge, and we are in the era of the big heavyweights right? Undefeated, but is he any good or just messy, slow and padded? Kinda like Audley.
Thanks
Two Heavies
Harrison beat Colloway (which i thought is Harrison best win so far), Rahman is there for the taking
as for the giant, wait till he fights someone we know, there is a interivew with him on fightnews

Re: Two Heavies
Did Calloway lose to Audley? He seems to be an immensely popular guy on the current scene forum, but if he lost to Audley, the question to be asked is...why?bugs wrote:Anybody know anything more about the two heavies below? Can either make it to the top?

I've seen Valuev fight, the minute he steps in with someone decent, lights out baby, he's big, but he is very slow, and he lacks the handspeed to be a decent puncher, I really think his size is a massive hindrance.
He's being promoted by Sauerland, so expect him to win a peripheral title and defend it ad naseum from a stadia in Germany to huge crowds who turn out to see the freak show.

Yep, I've seen Valuev as well. He is truly abysmal, but he does have some serious size. That said, he doesn't appear to punch that hard, he just has damn heavy hands.
I remember reading a report about him at a press conference where he was asked what he ate for lunch and he said 'Chickens...' and everyone laughed at him not knowing the difference between singular and plural. Turns out he did.
But like James says he's rubbish. There's a reason he's still fighting cruiserweight has-beens at this stage and age
