Weekend wrap, Waters,Singh,Omotoso and Davidson.

Post by Hounddawg »

Sorry Liver crusher(Lowie), i know you were starting a thread similar, just thought i would start a new one.

Last night Ryan Waters continued his winning ways with a Disquallifiction victory over the unbeaten Pradeep Singh 14-0, anyone know why he was DQ?
On the same card Michael Bolling KOed Joel Casey who went the distance with Micevic for the Austrralian title last month and take his unbeaten run to 4 wins 4kos.

Oyewale Omotoso destroyed Aswin Cabuy in round 2 who i believe beat samuel colombin, he's looking really good, someone give him Australian citizenship quick!

King Davidson UD Dondon Sultan over 8 to take his unbeaten run to 5-0

Anyone see any of these cards on the weekend?

From what i seen by way of moblie camera upload (Qlty really sux) Singh was getting punished buy the ref. The fight seem to have been good, but the Ref was a joke, Waters team must have paid him off. The fight was good and close and Waters did get Singh with very nice Punch. Shame the Ref f#*ked the fight.

REMATCH GUYS PLEASE!

I mean that i want them to start showing the fights on TV or Foxsports or something. There are so many fights that are worthwhile that we don't get to see. I gives me the sh1tes.

For an update on the Waters/Singh fight read Paul Upham's article on secondsout.com. You need to read between the lines but basically it says that as soon as the fight started to turn in Singh's favour, there was a point deducted without warning, a warning given without explanation, extra time for Waters to recover with "ice spilled" and eventually a DQ. Sadly what was a great fight was ruined and ended up making it look rigged with even many of the pro Waters crowd booing the decision to end the fight.

Unfortunately there will be no rematch beacause Waters would have known he would not have lasted the rest of the fight.
