Can anyone telling me what's happened to Mitchell - hasn't he fought since on the Pavlik/Lockett undercard? And he doesn't seem to have a fight lined up looking at BoxRec - I hope his career doesn't stagnate because he's a good/very exciting talent.

Kevin will be back in the new year, he is currently out injured with a hand problem. It looks like he will have a warm up fight in jan/feb then go all out for an assault for world titles. Whatever people say about him he is exciting and goes to fight. Kev is so under talked about and I guarantee 2009 will be a big year

Remmeber when Pele Reid was going to be the guy who, if Tyson is still around in the late 90s, will beat him?

To be fair I bought that one hook line and sinker.

Anyone who knew Pele from his kickboxing days would have said the same though; his physical tools, co-ordination, flexibilty, weight of punch and dedication were enough to KO the rock solid Vitali Klitschko in a kickboxing match (via spinning hook kick to the jaw!)

The guy was a monster - just a shame he didnt have the ability to absorb punishment and spent too long in kickboxing to alter his style adequatley enough to 'western' boxing..

A mate of a poster on here fought Pele in his kickboxing days. He said Pele was the only one he'd never want to fight again.
