DEC 6th excel bill is really good (merge)

i heard the excel is one of the worst boxing venues...any thoughts ...30 quid tier seats?

Its basically like a very large oepn space, and it feels like a large open space! They put temporary raised seats round the edge, and flat floor ground seats. I had a flat floor ground seat last time, for £50, and found my view was often blocked- even during all the undercard- by people walking past and hanging round the barrier that seperates the flat floor from ringside.

There were lots of security, but no stewards, so people were basically sitting anywhere, kind of annoying really because I like to sit in the seat I have paid for.

There was a series of letters in Boxing News earlier this year about it.

I'm not a fan of flat floor seating full stop, truth be told.

Raised seats for £30 are the best bet.

Excel is the worst arena for London boxing IMO. Like chinny I saw the shit that was Williams v Harrison 1 which may have influenced my feeling. And the train platform is a ball ache after the fights have finished.

Foster must be gutted too. After his massive points win over Jason Nesbitt ( won 7, lost 76 ) and, erm, various foreign tomato cans he MUST deserve a world title shot..

Seriously though, with no disrespect to Foster, it is making a mockery of the WBO that he could be considered as a legit challenger for this "World" title.

How can you knock.. this lad. He is the saviour of British Boxing, without him and the number of fights he is booked for, British boxing wouldn't be able to sell lots of tickets to "prospects" mates.

Boxrec have Bendall V Smith as part of the Excell show, december 6th. However, allegedly allegedly . tv doesn't mention that fight as being part of the card. So what the deal? Is it part of the show, or not?

Also- and I'm being optomisitc here- and new on the undercard opponets for Small and Cox, as well as the Walsh brothers.

To be fair Rogan V Harrison sounds like a decent match up, and there is a possible Bendall Smith rematch. But yeah- without the two "world" title fights it lacks enough appeal to be a Pay per view.

Might have to just give Macca the title. How about a WBO ceremony - in the ring, on the night - to reward Enz for going beyond the call of duty, for his exceptional past work in WBO title fights? Surely that would be worth the PPV money.
