Probably a step up, but only just. Rogan is tough and gritty but lacks any skills and doesn't really have a defence. He can hit a little but he has little arms and I can't see him getting anywhere near Audley's chin. I would love to see Roggie win but he won't.

Dioufy wrote:Yeah but that's nothing special - I expect Audley to break Rogan down quite easily. If David Dolan (now a cruiserweight) nearly stopped Rogan in the last round of PrizeFighter then how can anyone expect Rogan to win. Audley within five rounds for me.
I don't remember that. I was there and Rogan was too strong for Dolan. I don't remember Rogan being in any trouble.

Just watched it again. Rogan took tonnes of shots but was in no trouble.

Actually a better replacement - is the Commonwealth belt on the line?

I think it's a British title eliminator, so in essence, I am glad Elcock pulled out.

What a total load of shite. If I had time I'd really go to town on this. Shocking.

I can't believe some of you lot are still weighing up which is the better British bill.

Asrerix, I think Rogan was hurt a few times by Dolan in that last round. Me saying that he was nearly stopped is a bit of an overstatement looking back but Rogan was definitely in trouble against a crusierweight - I still expect Audley to stop him.

I respectfully disagree. Rogan's legs looked sturdy throughout, even though he was exhausted.

We can still have babies together, though, Dioufy. ;;-)

As long as we can see still do that then everything is dandy for me.

I just think he was a little in trouble - he took loads of shots and when he bulled forward he landed very little. It was his determination that got him through that, and against a bigger puncher, and him walking forward like that could cause a knockout.

I'm going to be watching the ITV 1 bill while recording the PPV- I'm getting the PPV purely for DLH vs Pacquiao and a decent US undercard.

Oh aye, Stu, fair play. But there's not much of a contest on the British side, hey?

Unless you are rabidly anti-Khan and Harrison and want to cheer the away corner on...

Froch bill is way better, as we have a fight between 2 unbeaten guys for a world title. With the promise that the winner will have to fight 2 pretty good mandatories after (Taylor and Murat-Johnson winner), i.e. no gimme opponents. So a good fight, that leads to something good afterward.

I think I'd rather watch Gethin and Barker in relatively easy fights than Mac and Cook in routine bouts dressed up in WBO wrapping paper. Main event pisses all over Khan v Fagan (unless the fights somehow prove different, which they can) so the Notts bill is the one to go with.

Apart from the trouble comment, I agree with you. I don't think Dolan was ever going to get him out of there, but against a bigger puncher, yeah, he would have been in trouble. :TU:

What's your prediction for the fight? A cautious fight from Audley or a statement KO? (I'm assuming you think Harrison will win)

I think Audley's jab will be key here. I can't see Audley taking Rogan out with a left-hand as he will probably be too scared to get caught. I expect Harrison to bust Rogan up and the referee or his corner to stop it, after Rogan's possibly been down a few times.

You?

Either a boring decision or a boring fight up until a KO by Harrison. I hope it turns out to be more exciting than it is in my head. :DDD

nope its a disgrace.... I wasn't looking forward to Cook vs Foster Jnr much - joke it was a world title fight, only banks vs Enzo Mac was worth something.

Has anyone bought tickets for this and regretted it now? It is sad, because the card as first put out did look really good. Two world title bouts (one a genuine 50-50 clash), Khan, Harrison-Rogan, Smith-Bendall (?) plus some interesting undercard fighters.
