If anyone was in Birmingham they will know that the Bendall v Smith fight was a cracker

Yeah- its a good match up - but is it part of this bill? Boxrec have it down that it is, but allegedly.tv doesn't.

Does anyone know if Smith/Bendall is still on, its been taken off the bill that Warren is advertising on his website and Smith has been added against a tba on the Cleverly card on the 12th of Dec.

Surely not another one.
You're shitting me! That's incredible! Was the best fight left on the utterly shite card!

Good to see you back Ben. 'Twas on both Boxrec and fwtv yesterday - not that the latter matters, of course. The Bendall injury must have passed me by.
So for the British leg of a PPV there are TWO confirmed fights - a relative novice banged out in a round last time out carrying one; and a rather old man who hardly anybody is interested in.

Incredible. What are Sky thinking?
Thanks Ian. I find it hard to keep track of Warren's bills and agree, this really isn't PPV material. I think I recall reading about Bendall's injury in the Liverpool press. Who is responsible for updating Boxrec's UK schedules? They don't seem to be as on the ball as they used to be ie they still have Murray vs McAllister down to take place next month when Murray pulled out a few weeks ago etc.

Smiths been pushing this on his facebook status for a week.

Pawel Kolodziej
Polish (obviously) ranked in the top 15, due to fight in 7 days in Poland.
They could get this as for the full WBO title probably and undefeated fighter would probably be acceptable to Sky.
Just bored so probably bollocks but seems feasible to me
Look at his record, lordy me! He has basically fought a fed light-heavy and an over-fed supermiddle. Wow, even little Bobby Gunn had Shannon Landberg on his resume. I think if it were him, that he would be Enzos weakest world title challenger, weaker than Azzouzi and Gunn.
Richard Roma wrote:Did Banks ever intend to fight this fight? I can't remember seeing one interview with him talking about the fight or anything like that.
Feel sorry for Enzo, I think he wants to fight legit challengers...
That's a very good point. I dont recall one interview, internet or otherwise, where Banks talks about this fight. I have serious reservations about the legitimacy of whether this fight was EVER on.
Hide is losing his power, in my opinion. Three of his last four fights have gone the distance. Still, he has won his last 11 and nobody can complain about this match, if it happens.
If Hide wins, I believe he will become the first 'world' heavyweight champ to drop down and win a 'world' cruiser title, although Bob Fitzsimmons won the world light-heavyweight title after his spell as heavyweight champ.
I would actually die of happiness if Macca got beat by Hide.
If I didn't die the interview afterwards of Macca telling us 'ah I made a stupid mistake and caught like.....like....like......like *head explodes*' would definately finish me off.
Hide's obviously a step down from Banks but at four days notice, I'm more than happy if this happens. It will be interesting viewing as Herbie can bang, and Macca's coming off a brutal KO to Haye. He's always had a vulnerable chin too.
Someone's getting KO'ed - that's a certainty I think.
