7-27-01. Three bouts listed by WBA. All Maracaibo, Ve. Superlightweight Elio Ortiz WUD12 over Marcos Avendano.(a championship contest?) Richard Carrillo WKO2 over O Soto (which Soto?) Noel Arambulet WUD10 over Jose Estrada.

I am not confident these results/locales are correct.

I seem to recall that card -- I was down in my factory in Venezuela at the time.

Can't put my hands on my notes right now, but my record for Arabulet shows

July 30, 2001 (not Jul 27) a 10-round win over Vidal Estrada (not Jose) in Coro, Falcon, Venezuela -- not Maracaibo.

So, these needs to be rechecked against the newspapers --

I would NOT consider the WBA website a good source, if that is where it came from

Mike is correct. Dates and locales on that website are not accurate. I sent this in because of the three missing bouts that are presently not on the fighters records. The locale could be another Venezuela site (possibly near Maracaibo). If he states 7-30-01 I would check out that date. I find the dates are off frequently. What I check is if a bout between the two fighters is on their records.
