OK, I'm willing to go with Conn...but by KO? He didn't have many of those. Even though Floyd didn't have the strongest chin around, I still have a hard time imagining Conn taking it to Patterson agressively enough to score the knock-out (his famous flurry vs. Louis notwithstanding). Or are you envisioning a senario where a frustrated Floyd gets so agressive late in the fight that he'd have been lunging into counters?

I'd agree that the fighters you mention would all have a good chance of KOing Patterson, but they all hit a lot harder than Conn (who, just so you know where I'm coming from, is my own personal all-time favorite light heavy). Conn did ideed hurt Louis, but it was really just one perfectly timed, perfectly placed shot that did the damage; once Louis was able to get his head back together, Conn was done-for while fighting aggressively.
And, just for the record, I think that most of the other heavywieghts you mentin would also loose lopsided decisions to Conn as well, but we are talking about a guy who only scored 14 career knockouts against light heavies, so I don't see many KOs coming for him at heavy.

It looks like Conn liked to kayo heavyweights.
