I think this Hide story has legs. Apparently he's in England (rather than Germany) and ready to go on Saturday. This one happens, I reckon. Hide-Enzo will become a reality.
I'd be very surprised if Warren risks Enzo against a dangerous fighter from a rival promoter, ie Hennessy Sports, unless SKY and the WBO really put their foot down (again unlikely).

Thats normal enough for undercard fighters, Nobby normally gets a call and fills one side of the bill up in one go
Thats fair enough for Chisora but Small is coming off 3 decent wins and really needs to kick on, but theres no way he's going to box anyone that poses any kind of challenge at this late stage.

I'm sure when it was first announced Bradley Pryce vs TBA was also on the card..... Very wishful thinking i know but this card needs more than just Herbie Hide to justify ppv.

Enzo vs Herbie?? LOL

Can you imagine if Enzo AND Khan both got chinned on saturday?

As nice a thought as the Herbie Hide rumour is, it's not going to happen is it? Realistically, Warren still needs at the very least, 2 or 3 name fighters to front Sports Network while he works in his new signings.

Khan should win, Enzo should win (against Hide), but why would Warren put all of his eggs in one basket with the luck he's had recently? I'm not getting my hopes up.

I think the phrase bad luck or coincidence has been exhausted by FW bills.

Whenever these 3-4 fight shows are announced you know 2 of the top 3 will fall out.

Happens every time.

There isn't the money to pay 3 headliners, when one is called Khan, out of the pot.
Sh#t you're right. I'm sure its all just a big coincidence. No real correlation to your wild theory.

What a farce. Its always like this with the 'alleged' one. There is always some bollocks surrounding his shows.
Its amazing how many fighters get 'injured' compared to other promoters shows. And on the night we have the Froch title fight on free telly it makes him look like an even bigger tool than usual.

Khan got massacred by a wild gangly slugger from nowhere and will never make it beyond European level. Can you imagine him in with the likes of Pac Man, Juan Diaz, Guzman or Valero? He would be eaten alive. Yuri Romanov would probably hand him his own arse as well.
Yet Warren is now essentially trying to sell his bill on the strength of his 'comeback' against a tough, grizzled but limited club fighter who's been operating on the deep south circuit for years.

Macca has been on ice since March for no good reason. He could have easily had 1 or 2 fights by now just to bide his time and to be honest putting him back in there without a warm up against an untested but unbeaten and hard hitting fighter like Banks looked highly risky to say the least. This has most likely dawned on 'he who we can not mention' resulting in Banks slipping on the carpet on the way to answer the phone call telling him that as far as he was concerned the show was off.

I was initially amazed at the strength of this card but obviously so was Franko and it has now reverted to the limited serious of likely mismatches he usually serves up. I feel sorry for those who bought tickets. I have been stung by him twice before pulling the same crap at the Excel and the Kings Hall. Swore never again. Since then I've only been to Haye fights or Matchroom's Prizefighter.

Hide would be the best pick of a limited bunch and at least is a name. Been on some run over the past 2-3 years against guys with decent records but dropping weight won't make him any less chinny and he's still a 'has-debatable if he ever was-been.' :-?

Good points, am so looking forward to Froch v Pascal, and like you said - it's free.

FW is taking the piss. Can't believe we're still debating who is facing who because yet again he is so disorganised and fighters are pulling out for one reason or another.

You never know but maybe Hide drops the court case in exchange for a shot at the title.

Enzo saying what he's gonna do to Herbie, that pretty much confirms it isnt Hide then :(

That guy has never fought a 10 rounder before. Why should he get a shot at the title.

Crap match up if it happens. Unbeaten, but against turds by the look of it.

We want Hide.
