Well the Pro's is all about the money, and Warren has proven that his boxers earn that.

So in that case its a good signing by the lads.

I agree, but how long will it take them to get to fight for proper world titles. Calzaghe and Hatton were good enough, but they still spent alot of their career under FW fighting pisspot opponents for tinpot titles

Don't think they will really care when the title shot comes ...if it comes....has long has there making plenty

Granted they won't be too arsed as long as the money is rolling in, but it's far from ideal for (us) the fans

The way i see it is the days off boxing having countless knoladgable fans are gone.. What you have left are a few hardcore fans , fans of certain boxers because there mates or familly , and the majority are big occasion fans ,

The big ocasion fan could'nt tell the difference with a left hook and a fish hook they know what they read in the papers so basicly the more influential a promoter is regarding papers and publicity the more popular his flavor off the month ala Khan and a few others .

Lets have it right, what boxing fan who really truthfully knows the game would be doing cartwheels over a 18 year old kid who never even had many senior ameteur fights, all would have too agree the potential was there BUT to be on ppv ect ect in the time frame he was, its rubbish.

But on the other hand the casual big occasion fan who believes what he reads , goes out buys the papers and believes dribble, dribble put out by sports writers who should know better , in fact probably do know better but because they want FREE tickets to BIG OCCASIONS they don't tell it how they really see it . so whats happening is we are getting different fans , and will continue to do so , fans who don't know that there watching gross mismatches and record padders in the mean time other sports will take over.

I've read with interest comments that ufc is not taking maybee not but its definetly making inroads, I know myself i would not go to watch it live because has was pointed out by someone else on tele its exciting too watch but from a distance it would be boring watching them grapple. But then again i has a ex ameteur , and profesional boxer a ex trainer of ameteur and profesional boxers , i'm dissiluisioned enough that i rarely go to boxing matches either

But i know one thing if ufc is on tele i will watch, it but boxing a lot off the time, i will get bored watching mismatches . When it comes too ppv, do i spend my money too be honest the bullshit cards with mismatches and geriatrics turned me off ages ago

The fact is its just a step up from celebrity boxing nowadays , only with celebritys we don't know who will win . Promoters are making celebreties out off kids who don't deserve it and turning boxing into a night out for football fans on the piss with boxing writers and sports writers all over the country endorsing the bullshit to get a free pass .

Personally i could'nt give a shit because i've seen some brilliant days go by regarding boxing shame the younger ones are not going too see it

On another note, some joker questioned Saunders potential by asking what traveller ever made it at the top. Ridiculous statement. Saunders is his own man, an individual and cannot be rated or categorised on his potential by the fact he is from the travelling community.

As for travellers who have had success...Johnny Frankham won the British LHW title, Henry Wharton - British, Commonwealth and European titles (also went the full distance with three world champions). And of course, then there are the bare knuckle champs.
I agree,What ever background a person comes from,if he has Talent,he has the same chance as anybody in making it in the sport.

Just to add a few more travellers who have done pretty good boxing,Martin power (british champion) pj gallagher (british champion) billy corocran (british title fight) and there's a few up and coming boxers...Andy Lee,Tony Docherty,John Odonnell And of course Saunders and people might not know this,Frankie Gavin is a traveller.

Why are they posing with WBO belts? Are they a signing bonus?

I like Gavin and Saunders but DeGale really bothers me. I don't quite know why, but there's confident, very confident and then sheer arrogance, and DeGale is the latter. I mean him "deciding" to turn professional or not was just a fabrication to get him more money - I won £100 because of it when my mate thought him saying "I will stay amateur is Edwards if still the gaffer" was him being loyal, thus thinking he was staying on until 2012. He just seems like a money-man and is talking as if he's won things in the pro's already. I am hoping for him to fall flat on his arse, whereas I hope the other two eclipse him.

C'mon TBA, TBC or Darren Sutherland.

Being of a family who has dealt alot with horses, I have dealt alot within the travelling community and I have to say it is rediculous to suggest BJ Saunders will not make it cause of his heritage - infact, I think his heritage will help him.

Shame they will fight easy opponents until they are 30-0.

Good luck guys, I just hope they do not suffer because of the hatred for Fwanky!

Hamed - Hatton - Calzaghe all suffered because of their association with Fwank!

Earn well lads, because you will most likely be hung drawn and quartered because you are being guided by Fwanky Bwoy.

Any news on whom they might be fighting? Not really sure how "interesting" their debuts years are going to be if they are spoonfed easy to beat journeymen.
