Nottingham tips needed

Post by Deserter »

Well gents, I hit the road in a few hours to head up to Nottingham. Picking up my ticket around 6pm but wouldn't mind knowing decent places to eat or have a drink near the arena etc. Any ideas?

By the time you have found the venue, there won't be time for a meal. Trust me, even with a sat nav, you will be going round and round in circles in Nottingham City centre.

Too right. The only time I've ever found it was when I went first time. Oblivious to all the nonsense I fell on my feet and parked up about 30 secs from the venue, free on a side street.

Since then, no chance. I park 15 mins walk from the venue these days. I just can't get there. Was even tempted to buy a sat nav today, just for Notts.

No worries fella.parking etc was surprisingly easy and now I'm just killing time in an Italian before heading over. Looking forward to getting first look at Tyson Fury...

I knew it was all going too smoothly! Casually polished off my meal before sauntering over to the venue... Only to walk in just as gethin vs lawton was ending..doh!
Venue looks great though and understand what those who said there's no bad seat in the house were talking about... As long as I don't get some huge fella in front of me!
