Well Done Referee!!!

As Dog has mentioned on another thread the referee in the Culshaw-Kostin fight made a brave call last night by actually awarding the fight to the real winner.

It would have been easy for him to raise Culshaw's hand and stay in favour with Tommy Gilmore and most of us wouldnt have been bothered to even mention it today.

However he raised Kostins hand....

The ref wasnt one of the big name guys who regularly score big for the home time fighters....I havent seen much of him before and we probably wont see much of him again if he actually does his job properly like he did last night!!!!!!

The ref in Froch's fight was a more typical display, constantly letting Froch hold the back of the head with one hand and hit with the other....

yeah i agree, although i wanted culshaw to win the ref helped the integrity of the british fight game.
what was his name, watson or something?
i thought it was billy aird in there
