He retired ages ago as far as I know. He said during commentary at one of Mundine's shows a while back that he was thinking about coaching Nathan, I could be wrong though.

he would hav to be 1 of the toughest boxers to cum out of oz.even tho i think he is kiwi born.i dont think he ever got knocked down

Paul Briggs has retired he is working as a Personal Trainer on the Gold Coast and has trained his Brother Nathan for his last 3 fights :TU:

a while ago barry asked him during commentary about coming back and he laughed it off and said he would never come back.
he also mentioned his adrenal fatigue as one of the reasons that sidelined him long enough to make the decision

Yes he is retired, was a great boxer in his prime just couldn't get over that final hurdle and become a world champion.

To be fair though he was unlucky in one of the fights with Ademek and look how good Ademek has gone on to be.
