Nowt like a thread like this to draw me away from my sunbed and disturb my holiday & get me thinking!!!

My original post was this ....
Mick Hennessy's first show as a professional boxing promoter was at the York Hall on 16 Mar 02.

As for the comments concerning Panos Eliades - typical sh*t myth - Mick Hennessy promotes his shows without the aid of Panos Eliades and I would love someone to prove otherwise.

In addition the other stuff written concerning who the original members of "The Class Of 2002" - they were as follows:

Carl Froch
David Walker
Lee Meager
Leo O'Reilly
Matthew Thirlwall

Francis Barrett was NOT an original member of the Class of 2002 - his first appearance on a Hennessy Sports card was 25 Oct 02.
Billy Corcoran was NOT an original member of the Class of 2002 - his first appearance on a Hennessy Sports card was 23 Aug 02.
Lenny Daws was NOT an original member of the Class of 2002 - his first appearance on a Hennessy Sports card was 16 Apr 03.

Anyhow I have a holiday to enjoy!!!
But you had me thinking Rhino about the so called 6th member - if memory serves me right and no doubt be the clever twat you are you will prove me wrong - but there could have been a 6th member but a problem with a brain scan or something like that prevented him from ever making his debut was Andrew Wallace - A lot of people keep saying it was Billy Corcoran that is not the case!!

In addition if you remember that first Hennessy Promotion was when Ryan Rhodes lost to Lee Blundell and Clinton Woods made an appearance.

I will now return to my holiday which I am thoroughly enjoying!!!

I uploaded an interview with the class of 2002.

The sound is a bit ropey, but after the coleville fight it begins (about 5 mins in) :-
