Re: Monday Night Fightzone - King, Zapp, Boratillo, Geale, Bell
I watched the kotv program and canvas classic this week(first time) Lovett v Bell, neither will ever be a world champ but Bell can brawl like a Mofo, it was like watching 2 guys in a phone box. Seen gostellow get droped by Nakbalee, the ref disgracefully stoped the fight, Gostellow still had his wits his legs weren't jelly and he was winning the fight, he should feel hard done by.
Thanks for posting this i would never had known otherwise.

My pleasure gents.
This week on the show we want to do a feature on the top 5 Australian fights of the year.
My 5 best domestic fights.
5. Cronje v Leapai - Great Heavyweight action. Rematch please.
4. Kickett v St Clair - Cool Willie and Superman. Divided the boxing nation
3. Porky vs Tim Bell - Blood and guts, high drama, old school
2. Hopoate v Bob - You can't stoppa the hoppa, Drama and action, pretty it wasnt, brutal it was. Put the Heavyweight title back on the map.
1. Zapp v Tommy Browne - World title level intensity and skills.
Whats your top 5?.
Best performance by an Aussie - Vic vs Mijares
Overall fight of the year - Cotto v Margarito

micevic v casey was a beauty.

zappa v browne. If managed properly, and taught better defence, we may remember this as the emergence of our next superstar....then again i may be wrong. Either way, to become a world class fighter you need to be managed in a world class manner.

Top 5; cant wait for the back lash.
1, Zappa v Browne
2, Leapai v Cronje
3, Briggs v Wilson
4, Kickett v St Claire
5, Bell v Lovett
ALL in all pretty disappointing year for domestic matchups except these.
Australian fighter of the year easily Vic Darchiniyan.
