Re: Enzo Macc vs Carlos Cruzat
This is the guy Enzo was going to fight in December but Cruzat suffered a knee injury and a limited South African was brought in instead.REAL_DEAL wrote:Enzo will fight Carlos Cruzat July 3rd
He's won his last 15 fights and holds something called the IBA title, which he's defended four times. But he's fought only once since 2002 and at 35, is hardly the freshest opponent in the world.Kevo wrote:Is this Cruzat any good, or will it be another 1 round job?
His best days seem to have come at middleweight when he was based in America in the 90's.
So it's another 1 round job then!ha habennie wrote:He's won his last 15 fights and holds something called the IBA title, which he's defended four times. Yeah. The 15-fight winning streak looks good for Cruzat, but in reality he's an old inactive fighter.Kevo wrote:So it's another 1 round job then!ha habennie wrote:He's won his last 15 fights and holds something called the IBA title, which he's defended four times. But hold on, doesn't he hold the IBA cruiser weight title? Does this mean Enzo will be a unified champ? Seriously though, the 15 fight winning streak is probably the reason they chose this opponent. People will see his record and think of him as a good test, despite the fact he hasn't fought that much in the past two years.
I've been looking into Cruzat's credentials and he was stripped of his IBA title for, guess what?Kevo wrote:But hold on, doesn't he hold the IBA cruiser weight title? Inactivity.
