21 February Excel Arena
Sorry if this has covered on another thread, but tickets have already gone on sale for this show and I can't find any information about who is fighting on the bill. I'm presuming it's Khan, Cook and Enzo again with the Olympians' pro debuts?

Re: 21 February Excel Arena
I thought they were looking at the NIA in Birmingham for this one? Why are they bothering with that Excel shit heap? It's one of the worst 'arenas' in Britain. Also, aren't the UFC planning something for London that very same night (at The O2)?
In light of the fact SN only did a couple of thousand ticks for the last Excel show...Good luck with that Warren

Can't second guess the TV figures but we can use the track record to forecast ticket sales...EddieShredder wrote:UFC 95 at the 02 that nightEraserhead wrote:I thought they were looking at the NIA in Birmingham for this one? Don't worry about it though, boxing is still more popular, and UFC will be bust by 2011Eraserhead wrote:Can't second guess the TV figures but we can use the track record to forecast ticket sales...EddieShredder wrote:UFC 95 at the 02 that nightEraserhead wrote:I thought they were looking at the NIA in Birmingham for this one? Re: 21 February Excel Arena
Any sensible businessman would know that many MMA fans are also boxing fans, and moving the show to the Friday would mean potentially thousands more people, especially fight fans staying in London for the weekend (like me), would attend.
Still, its not quite as bad as putting on a sub standard ppv the same night free tv has a quality world title fight.

16,500 will not be at that UFC card because they have no main event yet , their titles are in a mess , the main UK UFC fighter is busy , it is turning to be a bit late to get good fighters on the card.
Also the Excel should not be hosting the 2012 boxing it should be in the 02 and the gymnastics in the Excel , The Excel is a massive hall
