ernie gonzales aussie title

great display of courage skill and toughness by both boxers i saw it as earnie ahead on points and a few times nearly stopping mohammed but was cought with some big shots by mohammed in the middle rounds stopping the fight earnie for a mohammed victory earnie has the heart of a lion and the skills to match he is taking some big fights and will be won to watch in the future :box:

Who was the judge who had it 38/38?

Points mean nothing when the boom gets lowered. Jersey Joe Walcott was a long way ahead of Rocky Marciano on points when Rocky KOed him in their first fight. :box:

What's that got to do with a shameful scorecard that had the fight even at the point of stoppage? :roll:

My point is that it appeared that judge was going to f**k Gonzalez over good and proper regardless of how the fight ended. If that means nothing then each to their own I suppose...

Scoring around OZ has been nothing short of disgraceful in recent times.
Possibly due to lack of experience vs. way too old farts in the game, who are not prepared to give newbies advice/guidance for fear they'll find themselves out of a job. :P

Very true Anton.

Some of the scoring is very ordinary, All you have to do is watch the Fox sports cards to see it. Then again you have entered them in the database for a long time, So you would see it much more often.

i couldnt agree more jet maybe the judge felt intimidated ?maybe not no way was it close on the card
