Klitschko v Klitschko

Post by Finch »

Why doesn't one of the sanctioning bodies of which these guys are holders of the world title belts insist on the other Klit being made the mandatory challenger ?

If heavyweight boxing needs a massive fight then this would be it ? I think it's because they'd rather vacate their belts and retire rather than fight each other, or they would fix it so it'd be a draw.

If they were the two best in the UFC they'd be made to fight.

They are f**king brothers for god sake. If they were in the UFC they wouldn't be made to fight at all.

Even if the fight did happening it would be a light sparring session as they wouldn't be able to actually hurt each other. Why can't people understand this.

Can you actually imagine a UFC fighter sitting on his brothers chest and punching his unconcious head as hard as he can?

I can't but maybe i'm just getting old (or too inflluenced by boxing politics?).

Absolutely - the brothers made it perfectly clear years and years ago they would never fight one another - f*cking stupid thread.

Thank you.

I think people that want to see them to fight are sick.

In many ways they restore my faith in humanity - they are brothers, they love each other and don't want to break their mother's heart. That is a good thing.

I love boxing but some things are more important.

Brothers fighting goes back to the bible. Cain Vs Able, now that was a classic, an all out war. Pity we never got the rematch. Probably too much politics involved.

Because they're family. It's like wanting to see a husband beat his wife. Some things are more important than boxing.

It wouldn't happen for obvious reasons and it shouldn't happen because it would be a shit fight, it would just be a glorified pitty-pat sparring session.

Then its on them if they made it a patty cake sparring session, just shows how badly they actually wanted to be the world champ.

You should come to my home town we have many inbred brothers who like to fight each other, it usually starts with one of them starting a fight, then the other one trying to stop him, followed by the inevitable fight between themselves at the end.
As an added bonus you sometimes get the sisters joining in , plenty of gold necklaces flying around and thongs half way up her back.
