He does everything good, but not one thing great. His best attribute is that he takes his time and he places his shots nicely. His power was not much, but he lands alot. He's a bulldog.
My thing going in was that he was SUPPOSED to get tired, and in the 8th I started thinking, "He aint gonna get tired!" He's the same pace the whole time.
His speed is OK, not what I was thinking.
Can't say much about his chin becasue my punch isn't much.
His boxing skills are very good. He walks you down and tries to trap you.
He punches a little wide.
I'm glad for the experience with him as I know where I stand in the World of boxing now, as Solis should make it at least to a title fight. I might end up eating my words on that one, but he seems to be headed in the right direction.
hello chauncey, how would cameron, haumono, leapai & hoppa would go against olandier solis? i had a pik of cameron or leapai. wat do u thnk mate?
I would have to say Solis is a very good Olympic gold medalist, and Solo and Hoppa wouldn't have a chance. He'd have and easier time with them in the ring than they would have with him on the rugby field. That's not downing them, that's just saying he's far too experienced for them.
I've only seen Leapai once and wasn't overly impressed. He had a tough day, even though he won, with Moyoyo Mensah. To put it nicely and not shoot down Alex, Solis would stop Colin Wilson.
I would really have to say him and Shane would be a good fight although Shane wont hurt Solis, or outbox him, so I gotta go with Solis so long as he boxed. Shane can punch, but Solis is accurate and would probably cut Shane up.
That being said, we are talking about a Shane Cameron who will come of age after June 6 in New Zealand when he takes on David Tua at the Vector Arena!
That's a huge fight that pushes Shane to the next level should he win.
thanks chauncey you are good person at bay who doesnt trash talk and have a good heart - cheers mate
i hope heta is on ur list that belt he has would go great with da NZ 1 u got.

I would like to see him fight Chris Arreola. See which one is the real up and comer.

It may happen now that he's in America... But I doubt it, I don't think any of them will take the risk of losing vs another hot prospect before getting a title shot. With the immense talent we have in the current HW scene, it won't be long til each good prospect will have his chance to a title shot.
And thanks Chauncy for your insights..;) I know you probably hear this a lot but you didn't deserve that knock out, at least not yet when it happened
I really can'twait to fight in OZ. Always wanted to, but as I said before, no real opportunity ever presented itself.
Something will be worked out ;;-)
hi chauncy i'm michael kirbys manager i've already booked him in march big name and good title if all goes well you will definitely be on the cards for a future fight with the iron rhino . stay tuned for the promoter to put the rest of the card together and you will soon find out who it is.
Big Bob was on Fox Sports News Channel this afternoon and called out Hoppa. Mirovic claimed he was denied justice in his loss to Hoppa and now seeks redemption. Big Bob said "Christmas is a time of giving, so Hoppa, give me a shot as a present". Rest of the interview was a bit of a ramble.
Actually Bob, give yourself a Christmas present and hang up the gloves and make a New Year's resolution: I will fight no more, forever!

Botha fights guerrero late January for the WBF Title.
It is nothing for two or three fighters to claim the same WBF title at the same time. A WBF title belt and $3 will get you a cappuchino in most Sydney cafes.
I havent seen the article myself, but have been reliably informed, the West Australian (not much credit I know) newspaper reported yesterday it looked like Hopoate v Tommy Morrison in 2009. Anybody add to this ????

He does not have Aids (sometimes). I read a while ago he was taking some new wonder drug that when taken, shows no Aids antibodies. Unfortunately when the effects of the drugs wear off he has Aids again)
