He was on Radio 5 just before announcing it in case you didn't here.
Deal sorted in teh late hours of last night.
Said it was in London but not necessarily the O2 so may be Wembley?

With an attitude like Hayes he's destined for Greatness. Haye is a visionary for the sport who showing his contempories the attitude needed to keep our sport Great.
It's the toughest fight out there for Haye, but with Hayes attributes I reckon he's Vitalis proposition as well. Haye will certainly be alot more mobile than BIG Sam Peter. This fight has got the potential to be one of those nights
Excellent fight
Re: Haye-Vitali Klitschko in June in London
I would rather him have taken the easier option of Wlad but this is one of the many reasons why I love David Haye. He's always gone for the best, and he's a great ambassador for the future of boxing. I would give my right-hand to see David win.

Vitali took Lennox Lewis's uppercut full force and didn't go down even when It snapped his head back, Haye won't KO him.
Haye needed 5 against Barrett for a guy with good power.

Yeah you're right Haye should pick up a WBO title and defend it against bums in his hometown for the majority of his career.Max Molyneux wrote:Vitali took Lennox Lewis's uppercut full force and didn't go down even when It snapped his head back, Haye won't KO him.

Vitali is not impregnable, if he gets caught he feels pain like the rest of the world

but unlike the rest of the world, pain doesn't stop him, and he comes back throwing more...So unless he tears a muscle of a rotator cuff, there's no way Haye stops him.Chambers2 wrote:Yeah you're right Haye should pick up a WBO title and defend it against bums in his hometown for the majority of his career.Max Molyneux wrote:Vitali took Lennox Lewis's uppercut full force and didn't go down even when It snapped his head back, Haye won't KO him.

You know how reliable Max's predictions are. Im actually tempted to go and put my mortgage on Haye now I'v seen that Max thinks Haye will lose.

God man, you talk some bobbins. Klit took that shot OVER four years ago, and he's had numerous amounts of trouble with his body since - he won't be the same Vitali as the one we saw that night, I promise. And you deriding Haye's power is that I see BEFORE ME? Have you ever seen Barrett fight before? If so then you surely would've realised that he's mega tough and has a heart the size of Calzaghe's head. Even then, Haye knocked him down with cuffing shots that hardly even landed - could you imagine David landing clean on Monte's chin? He would've needed hospital treatment. If you haven't seen Monte fight then look at his record - David finished him quicker than anyone else apart from Couser, who's nothing, and he had his reasons that night too.Max Molyneux wrote:Vitali took Lennox Lewis's uppercut full force and didn't go down even when It snapped his head back, Haye won't KO him.

Yeah that was rumoured a while back but Haye being a Millwall fan I doubt he'd fancy Stamford Bridge. I think it all depends on what time it will be because of policing. 90,000 coming out of Wembley at 4am would be unlikely to happenpasty_spud wrote:i've heard stamford bridge might be the venue...whatashambles wrote: Said it was in London but not necessarily the O2 so may be Wembley?

do you think it'll be at 4am?
Re: Haye-Vitali Klitschko in June in London
Hmm, Good fight, think to be able to sell something that big he will need a high profile warm up bout and there is always the fear that with a big cash fight in the lines will he be able to take such a fight.
Who should he fight to prepare for this fight and to excite the fans? My idea was Jameel McCline, its David vs Goliath and would look good on TV if he can win and it would be good preparation for a taller heavier opponent.

i think he defo needs a tune up before june..
Re: Haye-Vitali Klitschko in June in London
Im telling you, Haye seems does not appear ot be a British boxer sometimes lol.
Rate him for that, instead of padding up his record and beating nobodies like other British "Legends", Haye goes straight to the point

He is mad you've got to give him thatobserver1 wrote:Im telling you, Haye seems does not appear ot be a British boxer sometimes lol.

but then again we don't know how good VK still is do we? I mean Sam Peter was arguarbly one of the worst belt holders in Heavyweight history.
Also what's the "does not appear to be a British boxer" bit about? Loads of British boxers have taken risks.
Re: Haye-Vitali Klitschko in June in London
It looks like a horrible fight for Haye. Vitali must be thinking it'll be like fighting Herbie Hide.
I don't see how Haye can win it, but we've seen a significantly smaller man beat a bigger one Pac v DLH. Vitali has had a layoff and Haye can hurt bigger taller guys.
Reckon that Haye couldn't resist the idea of getting the fight at home. Well, I hope he can do it. A mammoth task. Vitali certainly hasn't fought a fit, fast fighter for a long time. He's feasted on a load of puddings in Peter, Williams, Sanders, Kirk Johnson - and he's not been very active as we all know.
Vitali is a top fighter and if Haye pulled it off, it would be massive.

Re: Haye-Vitali Klitschko in June in London
I'll bet Haye doesn't come in over 220-225.
If he gets destroyed badly, he might have to go back down to cruiser despite weight making difficulties he can still win at the top level.
But I'll try to be optimistic in the interim.
BTW will the WBC delay JC Gomez's mandatory shot? Will they give him an interim title fight or would JCG be happy to face the winner? Gomez is the WBC mandatory. Can Vitali get this fight deferred?

Chambers the WBO champion Is also the IBF champion and a Klitschko. I didn't say anything like you assumed In my title, I'm just being realistic. The fact he needed 5 knockdowns to stop Barrett may make a case for his power being average at HW. Your too biased against mouthy fighters your unreal sometimes. It's not normal bias either, you dare people to defy their words even when It's garbage.
The WBO has a lot of respectable champs lately unlike the WBA at the moment. There as bad as each other though.
James you thought Audley was going far and picked him over guys he lost, my predictions own yours. I picked Hopkins over Pavlik, I picked Vitali over Peter when people were unsure. I am te Calzaghe of fight picking compared to some of you.
Dr Iron Fist will sucessfully operate on Haye sadly. He lets his fist do the talking Instead of using a charity event to Insecurely stand on a higher step to talk crap to them.
Re: Haye-Vitali Klitschko in June in London
Max, Haye dropped Barrett 5 times therefore his power is over-rated????
