Steve Cunningham vs Enzo Macaranelli

Having been watching the Cunningham Adamek fight I think I would really like to see him fight some more and I also think that it would be the absolute best fight for the WBO title ether as one for a vacant title of Enzo's first defence.

I think Enzo would be likely to lose but he certainly has a good dig and his chin wouldn't be too badly tested by cunningham.

Who do you think would win?

I think that Enzo would give both of them a run for their money.

I think there's no chance of Macca-Cunningham.

Why? The risk. Cunningham is as tough a fight as Adamek, but lacks the prestige of an Adamek fight.

Adamek is the champ, Cunningham is not.

I'm sure we all remember the length that Macca and Warren went in order to get the Haye fight. All that Setanta studio rubbish, making it look like Haye didn't want the fight, and so on. It seemed to work, though when the fight was delivered Haye was the emphatic winner.

Enzo has nothing to entice Adamek, in my view. Not even a measly WBO bauble!

Now we have Adamek, who holds the IBF title, and also will be awarded the Ring belt pretty soon, if not already. He's regarded as the top man for beating Cunningham. He was basically a very good, big light heavy who moved up and delivered at his 2nd weight. Adamek and Cunningham will be as difficult as each other to fight, but Adamek brings the far greater reward.

It would be nice if the WBO ranked Cunningham rather than the woefully inferior Banks, but sadly this is the way it is, and this is why guys like Froch come out and publically say that the WBO is a crap title.

Anyway, there's more lucrative bouts out there for Adamek. Enzo means less than zero in America, and Adamek can have some excitng TV fights such as a Cunningham rematch, maybe even a rubber match (Adamek-Briggs was so good that it's rematch was on HBO); a fight with former IBF champ & countryman Wlodarczyk for the Polish audience; not forgetting the mandatory who'll be BJ Flores.

Would love to see Enzo v Adamek if only to see Adamek fight live. But Enzo is too small time.

I think Maccarinelli would have a better chance against Adamek than Cunningham. Adamek is very stand-up and not too hard to catch, Cunningham could give him the runaround if Enzo can't land.

I would guess that Enzo would want afight with a former light heavy champ-as-current cruiser king, but that he has little chance of getting Adamek because he brings nothing to the fight. Cunningham too risky with no belt to gain. I'd like to see these fights but I think we know Warren and Enzo and what they do, by now! Vacant WBO title, Banks, then perhaps pick on the most vulnerable titlist if they can get him.
