It's official Uppercut goes to print.

After all the stushing about with name changes it appears that uppercut is it, we went to print today, and we are launching as planned on June 12th, at what remains of the initial bill.

Good luck at the Manchester launch mate - by the sounds of things you may even end up fighting on the bill.

What I will do is to speak to Lee after the show, and see about getting some out to people. I will see what I can do about freebies for anyone good enough to show them around for us, although I am sure poor old Lee (my editor/principal) will be trying to claw back the huge outlay it's taken to get off the ground.

Anyone who would like subscription information at all, please email me, my email is linked to this site, and please put the subject line 'uppercut' so I can keep tabs on it. I know it's early days to expect anyone to order a subscription, but I'm just offering myself as a point of contact.

Thanks for all the supportive comment over the last couple of weeks, most appreciated.

Nah, that's all yet to be determined, the first issue is a sort of trial issue, though it's apparently a very handsome first editition by all accounts (even I ain't seen one yet), so all of that is yet to be determined.

Any chance Uppercut will make it to Canada? Way too much American news up here on the tundra.

Is the article we talked about going in the first edition?

Looks like availablility for the first couple of issues will be via a website, then sent out mail order, so all you lads will be OK to get one.

Alternatively, if you are Hatton-mad and going to the MEN on Saturday, you will be able to get one there.

As soon as the website is tested and up and running (by this weekend hopefully) I'll post details of how to get hold of a copy.

The tentative plan is to have it on shelves by the September issue. Hope all you lads support us!

Buying a copy of Uppercut is more of a reason to go to the MEN Arena on Saturday than watching the shambles of a show that is on.

But i'm still not going, I'm gonna arder it through the website. :TU:
