They would have all been appointed by Nevada State Athletic commission, where were they actually from, surely not all from Nevada, that would be a little ridiculous.

I think they are all from Nevada. they showed it on the tv-covergae I think. But anyway they are all from the U.S.. I can´t remember a World Championship fight with all judges from one country, the ome country of the boxer. o.k. it doesn´t matter when 2 americans fight. I e.g. never watched such a fight in Germany with a german ref. I can only remember 1 judge from germany in the last DM-fight. So you can se, it is a whole different ballgame.

This is what boxing makes shitty sometimes, Or could you imagine that in a EURO-final England-Germany there would be a ref from England or from Germany?

I have to say, that if that is the case, then it's pretty fornicating outrageous, how can you have all the judges for a world title fight from the challengers home country, and worse still, all from the town where the fight is being staged.

That really stinks.

Checking out the score cards there is doesn't seem to be much wrong there. DLH won the last on my card. The rounds I think there cannot be a case for DLH the judges gave to Strum.

Do y'all think Oscar fought well enough in the early going to get 4 out the first 5 rounds on 2 judges' cards, and all 5 on the other judge's? I'm wondering if this is a case where the favorite gets the benfit of the doubt early on, but around round 5 or 6 the judges start thinking, "Hmm - this Sturm fellow is actually doing better than expected, better start giving him a round here and there so I don't look like too much of an idiot if the other 2 judges wind up having him the winner."

I gave DLH 3 of the first 5, I assumed judging by Hopkins' and Merchants' comments that the judges gave DLH the 11th, but they didn't and I'm glad of that. However, I didn't notice, until you made me look at the scoring again, that one of the judges gave DLH the 2nd - that is poor.

This is a post about the TV money in german boxing. Rudy Markussen will get more money for his fight against Danilo Haussler for the EBU 168 belt than Thomas Damgaard will get for his fight against Jose Rivera for the WBA 147. At the moment I dont know the purses for Mads Larsen vs Manny Siaca for the WBA 168 belt, that like Damgaard vs Rivera also will be on the Trinidad vs Mayorga undercard, but I wouldnt be surprised if Larsens purse will be smaller than Markussens.
