I can remember Curry being there standing up quite close to the ring and doing some shadowboxing (looked a bit of a fool for doing it) when the commentator was announcing him as a guest.

Perhaps it was another bill, but I'm sure it was Bruno vs Witherspoon It was certainly a major british bill around that time.

Maybe, Ian can verify this when doing his research - cause its annoying me now.

Trying to think of the other Americans who fought on the bill. Check Alfonso Ratliff's record. He fought on the bill. If his opponent was a Texan, Curry was there for sure.

There is no Texans on the bill, but going by the dates of the two fights (Bruno vs Witherspoon, Curry vs Honeyghun) and the story that I said (which I remember vividly) I am now 90% certain that Curry was there.

I can definately remember it being shown on the Beeb, so if anybody has the bbc copy of the tape, they can answer this.
