No, Frank Loughrey never fought Dixie Kid. Kid fought Young Loughrey.

Anyone have a record for Frank? Was Young, Frank's kid brother?

Young Loughrey's real name was Thomas Loughlin and Frank Loughrey's was Frank Loughlin. They both fought out of Philadelphia, so I'd guess that they are brothers, but I'm not positive.

Just to clarify, Young (Tom) Loughrey and Frank Loughrey were indeed brothers. Despite his handle, Young (Tom) was the eldest.

The Loughrey brothers fought Dixie and Carpentier on the same bill at the Cirque De Paris.
Young got controversially DQ'd in the 10th against Dixie Kid and Frank got outpointed over 15 by Carpentier.

Thanks for the information. Frank was entered as Young Frank Loughrey, so all the bouts were attributed to his record.

Would someone cast their eye over both records, I'm not positive they are attributed correctly.
