Fake report 2008-12-19 Uganda results

I bring to your attention on the 2008-12-19 results of boxer

I was the manager and official cornerman for Hussein Chiwa for this fight contracted and paid to fight Hassan Saku in a 6 round bout NOT IN AN 8 ROUND BOUT REPORT SENT TO BOXREC.

The manager and official cornerman for Andrew Samba was Paul Akoth <[email protected]>

Both bouts Hussein Chiwa's and Andrew Samba's were refereed by the same person who " stopped " each bout not after he had given any count. In any case none of the boxers was even close to be knockdown at the stoppage.

What I felt on the nature of officiating the bout is immaterial. Their losses by the action of the referee are TKO not a KO REPORT SENT TO BOXREC.

I hope the Uganda Professional Boxing Commission Secretary General Simon Katongole <[email protected]> who was also one of the judges in each of these bouts would be sincere on this matter.

BUT WHO SENT THE REPORT TO BOXREC ? No wonder it is dully said that African boxing commissions are notoriously corrupt in making records for boxers.

:( It is a pity we Africans are justifying the saying.

You should ask the Ugandan commission to make an amendment, I doubt they are sending deliberately false results.

I believe this was done deliberately :

[1] 8 ROUND BOUT
Hussein Chiwa contracted to fight a 6 round bout however as the boxers were being introduced to the public in the middle of the ring, to our surprise the Master of Ceremony announced that they were fighting in an 8 bout .

I complained to the referee Said Tebayarwa right there because the bout had not started. The referee Said Tebazarwa put this to the attention of the fight supervisor Celestine Mindra ( The President of the Uganda Commission ).

Funny the fight supervisor insisted that they must fight 8 rounds and kept announcing so despite my protest .

I left my corner to find the promoter Eddie Bazira. whom I found and told him that we are not accepting an 8 round bout . The promoter said that he was going to sort it out with the supervisor.

[2] KNOCK OUT

I do not think the Uganda boxing commission does not know the difference between a KO and a TKO. The two boxers were just gaming against a staked deck .

I have email the Secreatary General of the Uganda boxing commission but I do not think they are going to correct this.
