I've never heard of Ricky getting any incentives.
He probably demanded it all back when they split. Mike Tyson returned to the US under the inpression that Frankie had paid for £400k's worth of jewellery on his first visit here.
When Tyson returned to fight Lou Savarese - upon arrival at Heathrow, he was issued with a statutory demand for the £400k, plus interest from the Jeweller.
Frankie nearly got screwed!

No I'm not knocking Hatton at all, I take my hat off to him.

I just think that things on the boxing scene now are nothing like they were a few years ago.

I know its a tough game, but its so cold now.

Hatton has just has a second pop at allegedly in print demanding a big fight. Looks like he really wants to go for it before he passes his peak. He's so rich, he has nothing to lose in going for the big boys.

Good fingers crossed then, and I hear ya buzz and agree, I think some of it comes fomr a changing of the guard I think but this year has seen a lot of hopefuls spring up with all the major guys in cancelled fights and postponments.

Personally I still think David haye is gonna be a superstar., I hope so too love his style and attitude.

Another pop, interesting I cant wait to see the post fight interview.

Does anyone know how long Hattons contract with Warren has left?

Yeah, I heard he'd had another pop, was it the Manchester Evening News or something, a bit of an irony there if so.....

I think Hatton is making it abundantly clear that he wants big fights right now, or he's doing the offski. Didn't Hatton just extend his contract with Warren though?

He gave an interview on Granada news last night, along the lines of " I want the big fights, I may have to leave Warren and join a promoter who can secure the big fights" but he also said that he'd " like to finish his career with Warren, as long as he gets him some big name opponents"

Hatton extended his contract a while ago, with the Junior Witter clause if you recall which hasnt been fulfilled. For some reason i think it was for 2 years but not absolutely sure. Must have been 18 months ago at least.

In my opinion Warren cant deliver anything, his track record as far as I am concerned is rubbish. Calzaghe is still to have his defining fight, Hatton is still fighting tomato cans the same level he was fighting 3 years ago - where's the progress?
