The big 5000!

Post by bennie »

The big 5000 has arrived. The way I see it, I've got several choices now: I could kill myself for being an anorak, kid everyone how great I am in my role of unpaid forum contributer or sue John Shep for repetitive strain syndrome.

I actually misjudged it and posted a question asking: what should I post on my 5000th? Then I realized It WAS my 5000th. That was a classic.

Fookin hell, that's some going.

Mind you, I've managed 2000 in only what, 3 months? Sad. 10 posts a day on average.

Nice one Bennie, are you the first to reach 5000? If you are I think you should be enshrined in some sort of BoxRec hall of fame :)

I'm not sure any of us would have expected anything less. I also don't know if we should congratulate you or tell you to find some other hobbies. :P

Kevo, entombed in the hall of fame would have been better.

I'm the first among the current set of posters I believe. But there must have been others in the past who posted more and have since died of dementia brought on by eye strain.
The Boxrec forum has been going a long time.

Congrats to Bennie on his 5000th and to James on his 2000th - you guys have been a large part of what makes the BoxRec BS forum (anagrammatical pun fully intended ;)) such a lively place.

Special thanks to Bennie for passing 5K before me, so in future when someone tells me to shut up and get a life I can in very mature fashion point to Bennie and say, "tell him first!"

I didn't do the math. I totally cocked up the number of months I've been here, it's actually 7 months. However, the average 10 posts a day is correct, or thereabouts.
